Welcome to GURUSTHAN FETAL MEDICINE CENTRE(GFMC)

Our Fetal medicine centre started on October 26,2020 on the auspicious day of VIJAYADASHAMI with the main aim of diagnosis and prevention of birth defects and specialized for performing all pregnanacy scans necessary for monitoring the condition of developing fetus.

  • The centre offers a whole range of services covering Obstetric Scans.
  • Fetal Echo, Fetal Neurosonogram, Fetal Urososnogram, Fetal Skeletal sonogram as a part of extended survey of fetus.
  • The centre also offers Gynaecology Scans like USG pelvis and Follicular studies for the diagnosis and the treatment of infertility.
  • We perform Invasive tests like Chorionic villous Sampling(CVS) after 10 wks and Amniocentesis(after 15 wks).
  • All the procedures are performed to the highest standards as recommended by Fetal Medicine Foundation(FMF), UK.
  • GFMC specializes in performing Prenatal Screening tests & GFMC also offers Genetic services

DR.S.UMADEVI has completed MBBS & DGO from The Tamilnadu DR.MGR medical university, Chennai. DNB(OG) from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. She has around 16 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics and gynaecology. She has completed fellowship in Fetal Medicine [FFM] in Sonoscans, Coimbatore.
